Introduction:
DVD Architect 4 is Sony’s first foray into the professional software DVD authoring field following their acquisition of Sonic Foundry’s desktop assets in July of 2003.
This 3.0 version was retooled under Sony’s direction, apparently, and like most things
that Sony does, they have done this upgraded version of the application very, very well.
Some of the new features in DVD Architect 3 might seem to be old-hat, but in fact, are
quite innovative in their implementation. Certain aspects of the application might not be
quite as intuitive as they could be, but the featureset is powerful and logical, and
provides authors with all the tools necessary to create professional or just plain vanilla
DVDs, depending on the users needs. Now available on DVD/Blu-ray Disc™: your own
captivating home movies, multimedia photo albums, and music compilations-complete with
dazzling menus, special features, and custom soundtracks. With DVD Architect™ Studio software, you can swiftly create professional-looking DVDs, even stunning widescreen productions, on your home computer. Simply drag-and-drop to start building your next blockbuster....
